Kerrisdale Park - Point Grey Secondary School track and field upgrades

The Vancouver Park Board, in partnership with the Vancouver School Board, is expanding the existing track and field facility at Kerrisdale Park – Point Grey Secondary School following recommendations outlined in the Track and Field Strategy.

The upgraded amenities will:

  • Improve training and recreational opportunities for facility users
  • Better serve the city’s population growth and increased participation in track and field sports
  • Help provide equitable access to these facilities and promote participation in physical activity

Proposed upgrades

  • Replacement of the existing 6-lane 400m track with new low-impact, rubberized surfacing
  • New and upgraded jumping and throwing amenities
  • Other improvements to seating, storage, lighting and site accessibility
