VanDusen perimeter destination walk

The VanDusen walk offers a delightful route around the perimeter of the Botanical Garden . The circular route is 1.3 km or approximately 1,706 steps and will take at least 20 minutes to complete. The 22.29 hectare park is located in the heart of Vancouver, in the Shaughnessy neighbourhood. It is situated close to the intersection of West 37th Avenue and Oak Street.

VanDusen Botanical Garden provides an inspiring and enjoyable outdoor environment for visitors of all ages. With its expertly displayed collections, the Garden promotes knowledge and understanding of the world of plants and their fundamental importance to life. This site truly is an oasis within the City and well worth a visit to stroll through and experience its majesty.

Wheelchair accessible path is marked. Pathways throughout the garden are a mix of gravel, bark mulch, and pavement.
