Map of the Northeast False Creek sub areas

Rezoning and development

All sites within Northeast False Creek must undergo rezoning before development, as per the False Creek North Official Development Plan (13 MB).

All rezoning applications will need to meet the policies of the Northeast False Creek Plan. Rezoning applications will be processed for undeveloped sites in Northeast False Creek at the same time as the area plan process to expedite the delivery of amenities and the future Creekside Park expansion. Each large site rezoning area (Sub-areas 6B, 6C, 6D and 10C) will include design guidelines that will shape future development on each site, including density, heights, form of development, sustainable building and site design, landscaping, and land use.
