Granville Bridge with cars driving down the south ramp

Granville Bridge south ramps rehabilitation

We’re carrying out structural rehabilitation work on the south approach ramps of the Granville Bridge. This includes concrete repairs, deck joint repairs, and bearing replacement work.

This planned maintenance work supports this infrastructure's ability to continue providing a safe and reliable transportation route for all users.

What's happeningConstruction starts April 2025

Construction will take place on the decks of the 4 ramps used to enter and exit the bridge on the south side, and on the piers that support the ramps from below.

If travelling across the bridge, expect south side ramp closures, reduced speeds, and pedestrian detours.

If travelling on or near Anderson Street (below the bridge ramps), expect occasional road closures, detours, and parking restrictions.
