We’ll maintain access to businesses and residences where possible.
We’re upgrading aging sewer infrastructure along portions of East 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th avenues between Penticton and Kaslo streets in the Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood.
The existing sewer system will be replaced with a separated and larger-capacity system, with 1 pipe for rainwater runoff and another pipe for sewage. This new system will support population growth, help manage heavier rainfall, and have a life expectancy of up to 100 years.
