  Access to residences and businesses

  We will maintain access to residences and businesses. We will work with residents and businesses in advance to make sure that disruptions are minimized.

• 

  Parking and traffic impacts

  • We will maintain 2-way traffic for the duration of the project.
  • Expect traffic lane closures, parking restrictions, and potential lane or road closures as necessary for construction.
  • We will retain bus service at all times, but some bus stops may be temporarily relocated. 
• 

  Walking and cycling

  We will:

  • Maintain pedestrian access with some temporary detours in effect. Exercise caution and watch for sidewalk detours.
  • Retain cycling access or reroute as construction activities change. Cyclists may need to dismount.
• 

  Noise and vibration

  The nature of this work will cause noise and dust.

  We will make efforts to minimize noise, particularly during early hours.

Plaza stewardship partnerships

Once a plaza is designed and built, there’s a need to plan for how this space will be cared for on an on-going basis. We do this through plaza stewardship partnerships. These partnerships, in combination with public feedback, aim to make sure the plazas are welcoming, accessible, and inclusive.
