Key improvements
- Flexible and open design to support a variety of events and layouts
- Integrated built-in seating and upgraded furniture
- New trees and green infrastructure including a rain garden
- Electrical upgrades to support small events, decorative lighting, and more
- Drinking fountain
- Protection and expansion of the existing Indigenous Food Forest
- New concrete plaza surface
Feedback on the existing temporary plaza from community members and stewardship partners helped inform the design and features of the permanent plaza.
