We’re upgrading critical sewer infrastructure in the Shaughnessy area, between West 26th Avenue and West 29th Avenue.
The existing sewer system will be replaced with a separated and larger‑capacity system, with 1 pipe for rainwater runoff and another pipe for sewage. This new sewer main will have a life expectancy of 100 years to help serve this growing neighbourhood.
As part of this work, we'll also be completing some curb replacement and street repaving.
What's happening Construction anticipated to be complete by September
All sewer installation work is complete. Crews are completing paving and restoration work and tidying up the site.
During construction, expect:

- Parking restrictions
